Independent wrap Ascentric has integrated with Prestwood Professional back office software enabling Financial Planners to receive bulk valuations for all their Ascentric clients.
Prestwood Professional was created by Financial Planners for Financial Planners, and incorporates the leading cash flow modelling tool to help the client achieve their goals and objectives. Everything about a client’s assets, policies, investments and liabilities is recorded and then their future cash inflows and desired expenditure are projected, including accurate Income Tax, National Insurance and Inheritance Tax calculations. Obtaining real-time valuations and avoiding double entry of data means financial planners can focus on servicing their clients more efficiently.
Paul Etheridge, Chairman at Prestwood said “We are delighted to join with Ascentric. The link will provide significant benefits to advisers and will be especially valuable for those who are ‘raising their game’ to enjoy the benefits that will follow implementation of the RDR.”
Dominic Ventham, Head of Marketing at Ascentric said, “Integrating with one of the leading financial planning adviser tools will enable advisers to have up to date client records and a consolidated view of their client’s holdings when planning. This will be a valuable addition to the Ascentric proposition extending the range of planning tools on the platform.”

Notes to Editors
Ascentric and Fundsdirect are the trading names of Investment Funds Direct Limited (IFDL).
Investment Funds Direct Limited was founded in 1982, and Fundsdirect launched as the UK’s first online fund supermarket in December 1999. Since that time, the company has built on their reputation as a leading UK fund supermarket to provide Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) with a Wrap platform under the brand name of Ascentric.
Ascentric is a Wrap platform, available exclusively to IFAs and offers a fully integrated online investment management and dealing platform. It also enables IFAs to transfer their clients’ assets onto a single platform to provide them with the ability to manage their client’s financial needs in just one place.
In October 2007, a majority holding of Investment Funds Direct Group Limited was acquired by Royal London Group.
