On Thursday 17 April 2008 Resolution and Pearl announced that the FSA had approved the change of control applications submitted by Pearl and by Royal London.
There are still some final stages which need to be completed before Pearl completes the acquisition of Resolution. The main ones are:
Scheme Court Hearing 28 April
Effective Date of the Scheme 1 May
These dates are indicative only and may be subject to change.

From the Effective Date, we will be working with Pearl to separate the businesses and assets into those which Royal London will be acquiring and those which will be remaining with Pearl.
