Group of peopleUnderstanding our members' needs is important to Royal London Group.

The aim of this research was to understand how you feel about current and future communications from Royal London Group.

Thank you to everyone who agreed to take part in one of our focus groups, or responded to our telephone questionnaire.

The findings from this research have been used already to update content and style of the Summary Financial Statement. The SFS is sent to all members in April along with your invitation to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting.

We are always looking for more ways to improve our communications to you. If you have any ideas or comments please contact us.

Key points:

  • 70% agree that our communications are easy to understand and use plain English.

  • 76% are 'satisfied' or 'very satisfied' with the communications you receive from us.

  • 93% rated communications from Royal London Group to be equal to or better than those you receive from other financial institutions.

  • 91% said your preferred method of communication was by post.

  • When asked how often you would like to receive communications from us, 70% voted for twice annually or yearly.
