Royal London 360° offers a service beyond expectation with its new Technical Team

Thursday, 23 October 2008

Royal London, the UK's largest mutual life and pensions company, is delighted to announce the Technical Team for Royal London 360°, its new international business. The team is in place with immediate effect, ready for when the new company launches in January 2009.

In the increasingly complex world of financial services, where specialist advice is required to provide clients with tax planning solutions, this dynamic team will offer IFAs an invaluable level of technical guidance and support.

The team of three includes Deborah Moon, Technical Development Manager. Her primary role is to provide technical support to the UK-based sales team through training and seminars.

Before joining SPILA in March 2008, Deborah worked in the technical departments of Friends Provident, HSBC Private Clients, Scottish Widows International, Norwich Union International and Skandia International.

Deborah is a regular contributor to publications such as International Investment and International Adviser. She also sits on International Adviser's Tax Panel.

Technical Marketing Manager Neil Chadwick provides technical support to colleagues, the UK & International Sales teams and IFAs, focusing primarily on the technical development of the business's trust and product range. He provides technical support to the company in respect of new and existing business and reviews external funds requested by customers.

Neil has been with SLI for almost 10 years, having worked briefly at Axa and Canada Life.

Completing the team, Luanne Ahearne is the Technical Support Consultant. Luanne assists with tax and estate planning queries related to company products. She also provides marketing support in the development and implementation of technical initiatives.

Before joining the SPILA helpdesk as Technical Consultant in 2000, Luanne spent five years working for a trust company. Luanne's experience in this area is invaluable on the Technical help desk.

Douglas Law, Head of Marketing at Royal London 360°, commented:

"We are delighted to have such a strong Technical Team in place for Royal London 360°'s impending launch. This highly experienced, dynamic team will provide outstanding knowledge and technical expertise in selecting the correct trust or tax planning solution.

"The team is currently finalising a new and exciting core trust range and are looking forward to announcing full details shortly."
