It’s a 360° approach to international business from Royal London

Wednesday, 10 September 2008

Royal London has revealed that its combined international businesses will be named Royal London 360°when the Isle of Man based operation launches in 2009.

Royal London made no secret of its intention to increase its presence in international markets when it substantially enhanced the scale of its operations through the purchase of Scottish Provident International ("SPILA") in June 2008.  Royal London 360° will be created by the merger of two successful international businesses, Scottish Life International ("SLI") and SPILA.

In July 2008 a working group was tasked with delivering a new identity for the combined business.

The bold, fresh vision of Royal London 360° represents the holistic approach the new business will take to the provision of high quality products and services, while at the same time benefiting from the heritage and strength brought by the Royal London Group.

David Kneeshaw, Chief Executive of Royal London 360°, commented:

"The vision we have for the new international business is ideally captured within its new name, Royal London 360°.  I believe it's important to mark a new beginning for the combined international business which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the markets we operate in; the attitude of the people we employ; and our entrepreneurial approach to doing business.  It's not that we actually operate in all international markets, more that we're capable of doing so."

Work has now commenced on establishing the visual identity and logo for Royal London 360°, which will be unveiled towards the year end.  When Royal London 360° launches next year the SPILA and SLI brands will cease to exist.
