Scottish Life strengthens ‘defined benefit’ team with corporate pensions appointments

Scottish Life, the pensions specialist arm of the Royal London Group, today announces the appointment of Joe McGrath and Ken Tymms as Corporate Pensions Managers.

Reporting to Paul Spriddle, Head of Partnerships (Corporate Pensions), Joe and Ken will work specifically on Scottish Life's defined benefits (DB) business, to assist advisers in finding solutions for their clients. Both have experience spanning 60 years in the DB field and have an in-depth understanding of the issues facing employers and trustees.

Joe joined Scottish Life in1987 as a consultant, becoming area sales manager in 2001 and pensions sales manager in 2003.He joined from Equity & Law where he also worked on defined benefit offerings.

Ken's corporate pension experience dates back to 1981 and includes roles in pensions administration and sales with Equitable Life and later as a senior consultant with Godwins. Ken joined Scottish Life from Equitable Life in 2001.
