Bright Grey expands sales team to realise ambitious growth plans

Friday, 15 February 2008

Despite forecasts of tough financial markets, Bright Grey, the protection specialist arm of the Royal London Group, has ambitions plans to build on its 16% growth in APE in 2007 by increasing its sales team.

Andy Peters, Distribution Director at Bright Grey says:

"Bright Grey had another extremely successful year last year, growing business in a market that remained flat. A key factor of our success can be attributed to the relationships our sales force has built up with the adviser market.

"It is vital that we continue to invest in developing relationships and in turn increase overall sales of protection and widen our reach in the adviser market. We believe that we have the right people on board to continue our growth success throughout 2008".

The five additions to the regional sales team, which strengthen Bright Grey' s presence throughout the UK are:

Keith Scott, who comes on board as a Regional Sales Manager. Keith has joined from Scottish Widows where he was a Regional Manager. Keith will be looking after a sales team of ten and is based in Solihull, Birmingham.

David Jenkins, joins Bright Grey as a Partnership Manager specialising in Business Protection. David joins from Clydesdale Bank. David has previously worked for Barclays Premier Banking and has also been an IFA. David lives in London and covers the south of England.

Mark Macgregor, joins as a Partnership Manager will cover the Thames Valley region. Prior to moving to Bright Grey Mark was with Mortgages PLC where he was a Business Development Manager.
