He joined Marketing Department in 1998 where he was instrumental in the development and implementation of both the corporate and individual pension propositions. Prior to joining Marketing, he worked in various positions within the customer services area.

Ewan Smith, Group Product Development Director, said :

"The individual pensions market continues to be a huge growth area for Scottish Life. Keith has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience of both the industry and the Scottish Life business. His appointment to the position is testament to this and will help drive strategic direction of the organisation.

"As pension specialists we are continually looking for ways to further develop our offer to ensure we stay ahead of the competition and a priority for Keith and his team going forward will be to ensure this remains the case."
